Embossing

Leather Embossing is a unique craft that has long been used to personalize and customize accessories. It involves using a heated stamp that is pressed onto the leather to leave a permanent impression. At Man and Crown, all of our embossings are done using a heated brass stamping machine with Times New Roman letters at a quarter inch in height. We recommend a maximum of 7 characters due to the stamp size but also so that it properly fits the wallet without appearing out of place.

Once the embossing option is selected with the initials or name (case sensitive) in the personalization box of your order, we heat those characters in our brass stamp to 140°C and brand your leather product permanently with it. This leaves an elegant textured finish that is the most durable form of personalization you can add to your wallet. The default location for all wallet embossings is the outside bottom right corner. In most of our wallet listings, we have included a sample of embossing in the product images so that our customers can have a better visual when placing their order.

Embossing makes it your own, and this timeless craft is made available on most of our wallets at a very affordable cost. If you have any questions regarding this process, feel free to reach us using our contact form and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible. We’re here to help.
